Christmas at Park Hotel Kenmare

The house party starts as guests arrive and tuck into Festive Coffee, Rum Hot Chocolate, fruity mince pies and classic Christmas cake. As the afternoon light fade venture out to explore the magic of a little last-minute shopping in Kenmare or a stroll through the gardens to the waterfront and return to the sound of Champagne Corks popping as the celebrations begins and you take a sip of your first Christmas Cocktail.

Our little guests enjoy Christmas Tea, hang their stockings, and leave special treats for Santa. Enjoy the open fires in the Living Room, live music from our Choir and then onto a beautiful candlelight Dinner in Landline

Enjoy a lie in and wander down to the Sean Scully Room for Breakfast. No rules today so start with a few bubbles, unwrap some presents, enjoy a 5K around Kenmare, a swim in the pool or go for a bracing sea swim in the Atlantic. 

Enjoy each other’s company & soak up the festive fun as soon it is time for a light Christmas Lunch. 

After lunch sink into sumptuous sofas in front of the fire and enjoy traditional Christmas Games & Quizzes which can become competitive! Enjoy a Christmas Classic in the Cinema or have a pre turkey stretch of the legs. 

At 5pm the Bells are ringing to announce the arrival of Santa Claus for all guests, and he leads our younger guests to an   incredibly special Christmas Tea. 

At 7.30pm enjoy an indulgent festive feast of juicy turkey with all the trimmings and of course, not forgetting the ultimate Christmas Pudding with lashings of Brandy Butter. 

Finish the night around the piano singing and making friends. 

Enjoy a late breakfast and plan your fun day. 

Embrace Kenmare life with a long walk or hike. 

Winners of Christmas Day Quizzes are announced in the afternoon and the demolition of The Gingerbread House is a tasty treat for younger guests after their Tea. 

A final candlelight Dinner awaits grownups followed by music, singing and dancing to those Christmas Classics. 

Relax with your loved ones and drift off to bed full of Christmas joy. 

Enjoy breakfast, a final dip in the pool or if you cannot bear to leave why not linger for a few days.
