The Book Club Weekend - November 1st - 3rd

Michael Harding the playwright and novelist will be joining us and friends for a weekend of easy readings and storytelling. Most widely known as the author of such plays as Strawboys, Una Pooka, Misogynist, Hubert Murray’s Widow, Sour Grapes, and Amazing Grace, all produced by the Abbey Theatre, and more than a dozen other plays for leading Irish Companies. He has written three novels, Priest, The Trouble With Sarah Gullion, and Bird In The Snow. His memoir Staring At Lakes was published in 2013.  

Weekend Timeline

November 1st


7pm - 9pm - Dinner at Leisure (Option to join us for Dinner in the hotel or dine in one of Kenmare's finest eateries - Not included in package)

9.30pm - Reading Session 

November 2nd 

Breakfast at leisure in the Hotel Dining Room

10.30am - Hike the Kerry Way  

2pm - 3pm - Curl up in the Lounge with a great book and our delicious Afternoon Tea

3pm - 5pm - Readings & questions with Michael Harding

7.30pm - Dinner in the Dining Room accompanied by Michael Harding

9.30pm - Sing-along in the Cocktail Lounge

November 3rd

Breakfast at leisure in the Hotel Dining Room
